CVE-2024-4323, also known as Linguistic Lumberjack, is a critical memory corruption vulnerability affecting Fluent Bit versions 2.0.7 through 3.0.3. It was publicly disclosed on May 20, 2024. Fluent Bit is a widely used open-source log processor and forwarder, commonly integrated into cloud and container monitoring infrastructures.
At the time of disclosure, this vulnerability impacted certain logging and metric collection components within SingleStore Helios. Remediation efforts (Patching) were completed within 24 hours of the vulnerability becoming public.
